There are a variety of ways to keep up with all that is happening.
- Attend our monthly Board meetings, open to all owners and residents, on the second Wednesday of every month. We meet in the clubhouse at 7:00 pm, and typically meetings end between 7:30 and 8:00 pm. There is an Open Forum time for owners to ask questions and share information that pertains to The Oaks, leading off the session at the beginning of each meeting.
- Attend Committee and/or Commission meetings that meet at different times throughout the year, depending upon what that particular group requires to tend to the business at hand. Or better yet, join one of these groups and be a part of the planning of events and work within The Oaks.
- Read the newsletter that is distributed about monthly. It contains all sorts of tibits and interesting information within The Oaks and the surrounding Kane County area. Click here to read some of our newsletters.
- Read all mail that comes from the Oaks Business Office, paper copies delivered to your mailbox as well as emails, if you are connected in that way. There is a wealth of information such as pool closings due to maintenance, driveway sealcoating & painting schedules, upcoming social events (for the current year's event calendar, click here), changes in office hours due to vacations, and much, much more. They do not come often, but they are worth the quick read.
- Last, but not least, take a walk around the Circle. Greet your neighbors, pet a dog, thank any workers you see and just enjoy the surroundings.

OAKS ELECTIONS
Board Elections take place at our annual meeting in March. Biographical forms for nominating Board candidates are sent to Homeowners in January.
